We discuss testing and I give relevant testing recommendations in our initial consultation. Feel free however, to bring any recent or relevant pathology testing to your consultations though, or feel free to forward these prior to your appointment.

Female Hormones Test: Day 2-3 Of Cycle

Who is this test for: If you’re coming for fertility / preconception / troublesome menstruation / PMS / PMDD / hormonal migraines this test is for you, PCOS, endometriosis, adenomyosis, thrush, perimenopause.

Am I Ovulating Test:(Mid Luteal)

Ideally blood is collected 7 days post suspected ovulation eg. Day 21 if ovulation occurred at day 14. Here we’re trying to capture the midpoint between ovulation and onset of menstruation. Eg.day 21 in a 28 day menstrual cycle.

PCOS Check

MTHFR Gene Test

MTHFR is an enzyme that helps our body convert folate (a B vitamin found in many foods) into a form that can be used to regulate the levels of homocysteine in our blood. Homocysteine is an amino acid that can be harmful to our health when present in high levels. The MTHFR enzyme also plays a role in the production of an important molecule called SAM, which is needed for many biological processes in our body, including the production of neurotransmitters (chemicals that help our brain function).
